What is Clinical and Diagnostic Services or CDS?

The Clinical and Diagnostic Services or CDS is an out-patient mental health clinic involved in the assessment, early diagnosis and treatment of emotionally and psychologically disturbed individuals.

It is PMHA’s secondary level of intervention program, carrying the association’s mission – that of promoting to the highest level the sound mental health of the Filipino People by providing social, psychological, and psychiatric services to individuals of all ages with emotional, behavioral and psychiatric disorder.

Service and program implementation are carried out through the joint efforts of Clinical and Diagnostic Services’ multidisciplinary team composed of psychiatrist, psychologist, social worker and support staff.


Who may seek help?

  • Special children who need psychometric evaluation prior to enrolment in special schools;

  • Children and/or adolescents with behavioral problems oftentimes manifested by poor school performance;

  • Individuals who are seeking professional help due to familial disharmony, marital conflict and other personal problems.

  • Individuals whom may be experiencing specific emotional or mental disturbance (e.g. anxiety, depression, over suspiciousness) at times causing loss of interest in work and in social functioning;

  • Industrial clients such as job applicants or candidates for promotion.
