 Play therapy

 

 

Play therapy - is a dynamic treatment process where a child use toys and play in symbolic fashion facilitated by a therapist who makes interpretation of the play that will serve as an aid in the treatment and management of a child's behavioral or emotional problems.

Counseling

Counseling - one on one session with a trained counselor that guides clients through a therapeutic/helping process.

Family Support Groups

Family Support Groups – is a guided therapeutic group session that offers a therapeutic alliance during a period of turmoil or emotional burden of family members, caregivers and significant others of mental health consumers.

Family therapy

Family therapy – a form of treatment for family members to resolve emotional needs, reduce pathogenic conflict and anxiety and improve interpersonal relationships, enhance the perception and fulfillment of family members.

Group Sessions

Group Sessions – a treatment process where a carefully selected person with mental health problems are gathered together as a group, guided by a trained therapist to help one another effect personality change.

Home Visit

Home Visit – an assessment procedure through personal appointment of the case-worker to evaluate a mental health consumer's home, family and immediate social milieu and facilitate psycho-social interventions.

Psychotherapy 

Psychotherapy - a form of therapeutic treatment that focuses on the patients’ current dynamic patterns that helps patients analyze their problems with other persons and within themselves.

Crisis Interventions 

Crisis Interventions - a short term treatment that actively influences the psycho-social functioning of the individual during a period of disequilibrium. Its goals are to reduce immediate harmful effects of the stressful events, help mobilize the individuals capacities & capabilities to help them cope effectively

Field placement for students  

Field placement for students - provides field placement for students in Medicine, psychology, social work and other related mental health allies.

Clinical education activities

Conducts regular clinical education activities to clients, family members and  professionals

Referrals to other agencies  

Establishes interagency networks with government and non-government institutions.
