In November 1978, there school mental health clubs were officially
called "Lakas Isipan ng Kabataan" (LINK) Clubs as a result of a name
contest conducted by the 1978 PMHA Children and Youth Committee.
This same year, YLEP had been integrated as part and parcel of the

The Regular Monthly Meetings
|
| |
|
Member schools take turns in hosting the monthly meetings with an average
attendance of 80 per meeting.
This strategy results in great awareness of mental health in schools plus
the support of the school administrators and other faculty members.
In every meeting, lecturettes on mental health and mental health-related
topics like "Self Esteem," "Good Study Habits," "Caring for your Mental
Health," and the like are discussed and randomly selected LINK Clubs share
their accomplished activities for the month.
