60TH ANNIVERSARY NATIONAL POSTER MAKING CONTEST

Theme:
“Celebration of the past 60 Years and Looking Ahead to Another 60 Years”

Sub-theme:
“On Healthy Minds Rest a Healthy Nation”

Who may join?
1. Bonafide member of the Philippine Mental Health Association not later than August 10, 2010
3. Thirteen to eighteen years old
4. Filipino citizen
5. Contestant must not be in any way related to PMHA staff and board of trustees

Mechanics:
1. Qualified contestants must register using the attached Pre-Registration Form.

2. The organizers will provide pastel crayons and illustration board (1/2 size). All other materials must be brought by the individual contestant.

3. All artworks must be done only on the spot, and must be completed within the allotted time of two (2) hours.

4. To assure the participants of fair judgment, the following will be observed:

- All entries will be pre-numbered
- No signatures, names, or other identifying marks should appear at either side of the material of the entry

5. For National office: Deadline of registration is on 10 August 2010. Maximum of 15 contestants will be accepted

6. National Office’ elimination will be held on 13 August 2010 at PMHA Office, No. 18 East Avenue, Quezon City. From the pool of entries, the National Office Screening Committee shall choose two (2) finalists

7. Chapters: Elimination should be held on or before 13 August 2010 at the chosen venue of the respective chapters

8. Chapters to send the National office confirmation of entries on or before 15 August 2010

9. Two (2) winners will be chosen from each chapters for the finals at the National office

10. Chapter Executive Managers of each participating chapters to bring their winning entries at PMHA National Office for the finals on 28 September 2010

11. The decisions of the judges shall be final

12. Awarding of winners will be during the Opening of the National Mental Health Week Celebration on 04 October 2010

13. All entries shall become the property of Philippine Mental Health Association, and may be used for its continuing advocacy campaigns.

Creativity - 30%
Relevance to the theme - 30%
Originality - 20%
Overall Appeal - 20%
