The Clinical and Diagnostic Services has an out-patient mental health clinic which provides assessment, early diagnosis, treatment and management of persons with behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric problems. It also provides vocational, industrial, and neuro-psychiatric evaluation.

An out patient mental health clinic which provides assessment, early diagnosis, treatment and management of persons with behavioral, emotional, and psychiatric problems. It also provides vocational, industrial, and neuro-psychiatric evaluation.

Our team of professionals: Social Workers, Psychologist, Counselors, provide a full range of services to meet the mental health needs of individuals and families.

Programs and Services

l. Social Services

Social workers provide the following services:

• Case work interviews and management
• Family Support Group (FSG) – membership of families, relatives and professional caregivers of mental health consumers.
• Family Therapy – Help individual families gain understanding and deeper insight as how their problems and conflicts are affecting them and their mental health concerns through a facilitated group discussion.
• Home visits to selected clients to assess home situations that affect their over-all functioning.

ll. Psychological Services

• Psychological Assessment – psychological assessment for children and adults using standardized test batteries which includes psychometric, clinical, neuro-psychiatric, vocational and industrial.
• Counseling Services – help individuals achieve a deeper understanding of their problems and possible alternatives to meet challenges that interfere with their daily lives.
• Play Therapy – a dynamic treatment process which uses play as a medium for children to communicate and express their experiences and feelings through a natural, self-guided, self-healing process. It also serves as an aid in the management of behavioral problems.

lll. Psychiatric Services

Provide psychiatric consultation to mental health consumers through psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy.

lV. Field Placement for Students

Internship program offered for Undergraduate and Graduate Psychology and Social Work students for exposure and to stimulate their interest in clinical practice. click here

V. Networking

Our partner agencies are very much involved in the delivery of our mental health services through their participation in our lecture fora, mini-sports fest, institutional visits and clinical education activities.
